Banana Applesauce

Ingredients

- 4 small granny smith apples
- 4 small bananas
- 1/4 teaspoon apple-brandy extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (or more to taste)
- 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tablespoons raw sugar (and or or caster sugar)
- 1/2-3/4 cup water (start with 1/2, add more if necessary)
Recipe
- 1 peel, quarter, core and slice apples. chop bananas. combine both in in a large saucepan; add remaining ingredients.
- 2 bring to a boil; cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until apple is pulpy. reduce heat to low or medium and whisk/stir until pretty well mashed; remove from heat and continue whisking/mashing until it is as smooth as you like it.
