Bisqueware Ornaments

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups baking soda
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water

Recipe

  • 1 stir baking soda and cornstarch together with the cold water in a heavy guage saucepan.
  • 2 bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture just until mixture begins to thicken.
  • 3 remove from heat immediately. the dough should be limp and easy to stir.
  • 4 do not overcook!
  • 5 turn the mixture out into a large platter and cover with a damp cloth.
