Ingredients
- 1/2 lb potato, cooked in their skins
- 1/2 lb grated raw potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- salt & pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
Recipe
- 1 remove skins from cooked potatoes. mash with buttermilk. add grated raw potatoes, flour, soda, pepper, & salt.
- 2 scoop onto hot, buttered griddle to make 3 inch cakes. fry until golden and crispy.
- 3 serve with butter or honey.
