Autumn Fruit Swirl

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs jonathan apples or 1 1/2 lbs mcintosh apples, peeled, cored, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1/3 ounce splenda sugar substitute
  • 5 ounces canned unsweetened blackberries, drained (in fruit juice)
  • 1/3 cup low-fat plain yogurt

Recipe

  • 1 place apples, water, and splenda in a saucepan.
  • 2 cover and simmer until soft.
  • 3 allow to cool.
  • 4 meanwhile, purée the blackberries in a blender or food processor.
  • 5 filter through a sieve.
  • 6 purée the cooled apple mixture.
  • 7 add to the blackberries and fold in the yogurt.
  • 8 spoon into glass bowl and chill before serving.
