Banana Akara (african Banana Fritters)

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 bananas, well ripened
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 mash bananas with a fork or use blender to make into a pulp.
  • 2 add flour.
  • 3 mix water and sugar to make a syrup.
  • 4 add syrup and nutmeg to bananas and flour (add more water, if needed, to make batter to pancake consistency.) mix well.
  • 5 fry like pancakes in oiled frying pan until golden brown.
