Batatya Chi Sukki Bhaji (sauteed Potatoes And Bell Pepper)

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cubed
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, cubed
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 boil potatoes till cooked but firm.
  • 2 peel and cube them.
  • 3 sprinkle with salt, turmeric powder and paprika. mix well.
  • 4 heat oil in a pan.
  • 5 toss in cumin seeds and stir-fry for a few seconds.
  • 6 saute the potatoes for a few minutes.
  • 7 lower flame and cook covered till lightly roasted and golden.
  • 8 stir in the red and green bell peppers.
  • 9 cook for a few minutes.
  • 10 serve hot with rotis or bread or puris or parathas.
