Apple Cinnamon Bars

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup egg substitute
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup apple juice concentrate
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 1/4 cups apples, peeled and chopped

Recipe

  • 1 soak raisins in apple juice concentrate for 30 minutes.
  • 2 preheat oven to 350*.
  • 3 coat an 8 inch square pan with cooking spray. stir together the dry ingredients. add apples and toss to coat.
  • 4 stir together all wet ingredients, including raisins and juice concentrate. add wet mixture to dry mixture. fold together until evenly moistened. batter will be thick.
  • 5 spread batter into pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
