Apple Cinnamon Bars

Ingredients

- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup egg substitute
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup apple juice concentrate
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 1/4 cups apples, peeled and chopped
Recipe
- 1 soak raisins in apple juice concentrate for 30 minutes.
- 2 preheat oven to 350*.
- 3 coat an 8 inch square pan with cooking spray. stir together the dry ingredients. add apples and toss to coat.
- 4 stir together all wet ingredients, including raisins and juice concentrate. add wet mixture to dry mixture. fold together until evenly moistened. batter will be thick.
- 5 spread batter into pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
