Bloody Mary Soup

Total Time: 14 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 5 large ripe tomatoes, peeled and seeded
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 small green sweet pepper
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 1 teaspoon tabasco sauce (or sauce of choice. additional tobasco sauce can be used to taste)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup vodka, chilled

Recipe

  • 1 place tomatoes, garlic, onion, green pepper and pepper sauce in blender.
  • 2 blend to a smooth paste then gradually blend in tomato juice.
  • 3 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 4 chill at least 4 hours.
  • 5 just before stirring, stir in vodka.
  • 6 serve over ice in large goblets.
  • 7 place a celery stick into each serving.
