Aloo Tikki

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 big potatoes
  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 2 teaspoons mint

Recipe

  • 1 wash,boil and mash the potatoes.
  • 2 to the mashed potatoes add the bread slices which are dipped in water and then immediately squeezed ,red chilli powder,haldi,salt,coriander and mint chopped.
  • 3 mix everything together.
  • 4 make 10 balls from the mixture.
  • 5 shape the balls into cutlets.
  • 6 heat a non stick frying pan.
  • 7 grease it with 2tbsp oil.
  • 8 now place the prepared cutlets in the pan.
  • 9 and shallow fry till they are golden brown.
  • 10 on both sides.
  • 11 serve the hot tikkis with ketchup.
