Blancmange

Total Time: 6 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 min

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon peel

Recipe

  • 1 combine the sugar, corn starch, salt and milk in a saucepan.
  • 2 stir consistantly over medium heat until boiling point.
  • 3 stir at boiling for 1 minute.
  • 4 remove from heat.
  • 5 add lemon juice and peel.
  • 6 chill and serve.
