Brazilian Vegetable Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 2 medium chopped tomatoes (unseeded)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green olives
  • 1 (15 ounce) can corn
  • 1 (15 ounce) can green peas
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar chopped hearts of palm (drained)
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe

  • 1 pre-heat oven 350'.
  • 2 1st dough :blend all the ingredients for the dough and pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan.
  • 3 mix vegetables in a bowl. add vinegar, oil and salt and mix well.
  • 4 spread vegetable mix over dough.
  • 5 2nd dough :blend all the ingredients for the dough and spread it over vegetable filling.
  • 6 bake until golden brown and toothpick comes out clear. turn off oven and let the pie sit inside it for 30 minutes.
  • 7 enjoy!
