Black-eyed Peas By Marina

Total Time: 48 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 48 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans black-eyed peas
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3 celery ribs
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes

Recipe

  • 1 cut bacon into small pieces and fry until crumbly.
  • 2 save a little of the bacon grease to fry the celery and onions.
  • 3 add worchester sauce, basil and thyme.
  • 4 add diced tomatoes.
  • 5 cook at least 2 hours on low heat.
