Basic Paratha Dough

Total Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil or 1 tablespoon ghee
  • salt
  • water (to knead)

Recipe

  • 1 mix all ingredients except water.
  • 2 add water a little at a time and form a soft pliable dough.
  • 3 keep for 30 minutes before using.
  • 4 always keep covered with a moist cloth and see that the cloth is kept moist.
  • 5 for rolling, use dry flour as in chappati to roll easier.
  • 6 dust the roti with dry flour now and then.
