Apple Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 -10 apples, peeled cored, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup fresh soft breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 pudding:.
  • 2 place milk, rice, sugar and salt in a large saucepan. bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. cook until rice is tender and creamy-about 25-30 minutes.
