Apple Rice Pudding

Ingredients

- 5 cups milk
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 8 -10 apples, peeled cored, chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup fresh soft breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 pudding:.
- 2 place milk, rice, sugar and salt in a large saucepan. bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. cook until rice is tender and creamy-about 25-30 minutes.
