Baby New Potatoes With Creamy Parmesan Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 18 small new potatoes, unpeeled and cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 cover potatoes with water, bring to a boil, lower heat, cover and simmer until tender, about 8 minutes.
  • 2 drain and cover to keep warm.
  • 3 in saucepan over medium high heat, melt butter, whisk in flour, then milk, stirring constantly until thick.
  • 4 season sauce with salt, black pepper and nutmeg.
  • 5 stir in cheese.
  • 6 pour sauce over potatoes and stir to coat.
