Bread Machine Apricot Nutmeg Bread

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 cup water, 70-80 degrees
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon instant nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons instant nonfat dry milk powder
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup dried apricot, chopped
- 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Recipe
- 1 put ingredients beginning with water through yeast in bread machine, in order given.
- 2 select sweet bread cycle, with medium crust color and loaf size if available.
- 3 check dough after 5 minutes of mixing and add 1-2 tbl. water or flour, if needed.
- 4 just before final knead, at beep, add apricots and nutmeg.
