Apple Raisin Soup

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 2 large cooking apples, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 2 inches cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brandy

Recipe

  • 1 in a 2 quart saucepan combine the first 4 ingredients. cover and simmer 15 minutes or until the apples are tender.
  • 2 stir in brandy and sugar, cook until dissolved.
  • 3 remove cinnamon stick before serving. you can also put this in the blender before serving if desired.
