- 6 -8 medium apples, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar or 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 in large saucepan, combine apples and water.
- 2 bring to a boil and cover.
- 3 simmer over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
- 4 stir in cinnamon and sugar and cook until thoroughly heated.
