Basic Millet

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup millet
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 bring water to boil.
  • 2 add all ingredients.
  • 3 bring back to a boil stirring frequently.
  • 4 cover and simmer over medium-low heat for approximately 15 minutes.
  • 5 water should be absorbed and millet should be fluffy.
  • 6 for slightly different flavor toast millet before cooking.
