Applesauce Cake

Ingredients

• 1 2/3 cups flour
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons allspice
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup applesauce
• 1/3 cup chopped nuts
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon vinegar

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350°.
• 2 mix flour, sugar, allspice, baking soda and salt in an ungreased 8x8x2 pan.
• 3 mix in remaining ingredients.
• 4 bake 35-40 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
• 5 serve warm or cool.
