Blood-orange Rum Punch

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle chilled sparkling wine
  • 3 cups blood orange juice (from 12 blood oranges)
  • 2/3 cup light rum (not dark rum)
  • 1 navel orange, halved lengthwise, then sliced crosswise

Recipe

  • 1 stir together all ingredients in a pitcher and serve over ice.
  • 2 note: blood-orange juice can be squeezed 1 day ahead and chilled, covered.
