Applesauce Crazy Cake (no-bowl)

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon clove
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 1/4 cups unsweetened applesauce
• 1/3 cup oil
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Recipe

• 1 in 8 or 9-inch square pan, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, cloves and nutmeg; blend well.
• 2 stir in apple sauce, oil and vanilla; mix well. stir in raisins and nuts. use a rubber spatula to scrape any ingredients clinging to sides, corners or bottom of pan into the batter and even the batter in the pan.
• 3 bake at 350f for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. makes 9 servings.
