Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup light cream
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 egg whites
Recipe
- 1 sift dry ingredients together.
- 2 combine buttermilk, cream, egg yolks and melted butter with dry ingredients with a few swift strokes.
- 3 beat egg whites until stiff, not dry.
- 4 fold egg whites into batter.
- 5 cook on belgian waffle iron.
