Blackberry Mush

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup blackberry
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 combine berries and 1 cup water in saucepan. bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  • 2 meanwhile, combine corn starch and 1/3 cup water until smooth.
  • 3 stir corn starch/water mixture in to berries and stir until thickened.
  • 4 remove from heat.
  • 5 add sugar and mixture until smooth.
  • 6 pour into 1 quart dish and cool.
  • 7 serve with milk or vanilla ice cream.
