Avocado Cheddar Grilled Cheese

Total Time: 7 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 slices hearty whole wheat bread (i like arnold's 7 grain bread)
  • softened butter
  • thick slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Recipe

  • 1 lightly butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • 2 place 2 slices of buttered bread, butter side down, on a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 3 top with cheddar cheese, sliced avocado, and other slices of buttered bread.
  • 4 grill for a couple of minutes until cheese has started to melt and bread is grilled to desired amount.
  • 5 flip sandwiches and grill on other side.
