Aunt Marty's Granola

Ingredients
- Servings: 30
- 15 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 2 cups slivered almonds (optional or you may exchange for another type of nut)
- 1 cup canola oil
- 3/4 cup honey
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 little salt (optional)
- 1/4 cup vanilla
Recipe
- 1 stir above ingredients together in a large roasting pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- 2 stir.
- 3 bake another 10 minutes.
- 4 remove from oven.
- 5 after removing from oven you may add dried fruits such as raisins, apricots, papaya, etc.
- 6 place in a glass jar or airtight tin to use immediatey.
- 7 put the remainder in freezer bags and freeze.
