Best Little Smokies Ever

Ingredients

- 2 (16 ounce) packages little smokies sausages
- 14 ounces ketchup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon french's yellow mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 in a large saucepan, combine: ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, cloves and cinnamon.
- 2 mix well.
- 3 add the little smokies (drain out the liquid from packages) and cover.
- 4 simmer on medium-low heat for about 30-45 minutes or until little smokies are heated through, stirring occasionally.
- 5 if doing these in a crockpot; combine ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, cloves and cinnamon in a bowl.
- 6 mix well.
- 7 add the little smokies (drain out the liquid from packages) to the crockpot and pour sauce mixture over them.
- 8 stir to evenly coat little smokies.
- 9 cook on high heat 2-4 hours before serving, or until little smokies are heated through, stirring occasionally.
