Baked Fresh Apricots With Almonds

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb fresh ripe apricot (about 6-7)
  • 3 tablespoons apricot jam
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half (you can sub cream but not milk)
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar or 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350*.
  • 2 cut the apricots in half and remove their pits.
  • 3 arrange the apricot halves, cut side down, in a gratin dish.
  • 4 spoon the jam over the fruit.
  • 5 pour the half-and-half over the fruit.
  • 6 sprinkle the almonds and sugar on top.
  • 7 place in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  • 8 serve lukewarm.
