Better For Your Heart - Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - Low Fat

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon butter flavor extract (optional)
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
  • 3 cups oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup raisins

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2 in large bowl, combine oil, honey, sugars, extracts and egg whites.
  • 3 in second bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • 4 add dry to wet and combine.
  • 5 add in raisins.
  • 6 drop by rounded tablespoons onto silpat lined baking sheets.
  • 7 bake 8 minutes.
