Ingredients
- 1 gallon blackberry
- 1 quart boiling water
- 2 lbs sugar
Recipe
- 1 place berries in large bowl and bruise them up a little by pressing.
- 2 pour the boiling water over the bullied berries.
- 3 let stand for 24 hours, stirring occasionally. i usually stir every 2 hours.
- 4 strain off liquid into a container you can close tightly.
- 5 add sugar, stir, and close tightly.
- 6 let stand for 3 months.
- 7 bottle up and cork.
