Better Frizzled Cabbage

Ingredients

- 1 (16 ounce) bag coleslaw mix
- 2 slices bacon, diced
- soy sauce or teriyaki sauce
Recipe
- 1 fry bacon in medium hot skillet until crisp.
- 2 remove bacon from pan and pour off all but about 2 tablespoons of the drippings.
- 3 add the cabbage to hot skillet and a bit of water to de-glaze the pan.
- 4 reduce heat and cover pan.
- 5 stir occasionally and cook until mostly wilted.
- 6 turn the heat down to medium-low and let cook, stirring frequently, until cabbage is starting to caramelize (brown), about 10 minutes.
- 7 do not let burn.
- 8 add preferred sauce to taste, return bacon to cabbage and serve.
