- 5 lbs apples
- 1 cup water
- 2 lbs sugar

- 1 peel and core apples.
- 2 dice apples. put in pan with water and cook stirring frequently, about 10 minutes.
- 3 add 2 lbs sugar and continue simmering,
- 4 stirring and skimming for 10 minutes.
- 5 hot pack into clean pint jars.
