Atlantic City Sour Cream Biscuits

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fat free sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium-large bowl, blend flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together with a whisk. add sour cream and mix into a stiff dough.
  • 2 using floured hands, turn dough out onto a floured board. flour a rolling pin and roll dough to a 1/2-inch thickness. cut biscuits with a biscuit cutter or simply with the rim of a drinking glass.
  • 3 place biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in a pre-heated 400 degree f oven for 15-20 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
