Apple Cider Jelly

Ingredients
- 1 quart apple cider
- 2/3 cup red hots red cinnamon candies
- 1 (1 3/4 ounce) package dry pectin
- 5 cups sugar
Recipe
- 1 in a large pot, combine the cider, candy, and pectin.
- 2 bring to a rolling boil over high heat, stirring often.
- 3 add sugar and return to a rolling boil.
- 4 boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- 5 remove from the heat and skim off any foam.
- 6 carefully ladle hot jelly into sterilized half-pint jars, leaving 1/4 in headspace.
