Apple Carrot Onion Side Dish

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 -2 tablespoon butter or 1 -2 tablespoon margarine
  • 3 medium carrots, thin strips
  • 1 medium onion, cut into thin strips
  • 3 medium apples, with skin, cored cut into thin strips (red)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 put butter and nutmeg into a wok or large skillet medium heat.
  • 2 add onion; saute for 2 to 3 minutes or until transparent.
  • 3 add vegetables and apples to the wok or skillet.
  • 4 carefully add water.
  • 5 cover and cook over low-medium heat for 10 - 15 minutes or until apples are tender.
  • 6 serve immediately.
