Baked Beans Dressed For Dinner

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 (1 lb) cans vegetarian baked beans
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice, drained and juice reserved
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium saucepan over medium heat, heat oil and then cook onion and green pepper, stirring frequently, until tender.
