Real Pecan Pie
Ingredients

- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup corn syrup
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

Ready Time: 1 hr 5 mins
- in a large mixing bowl, slightly beat the eggs.
- stir in corn syrup, sugar, and vanilla. mix well.
- lightly stir in pecans, till well-coated with egg mixture.
- pour into pie shell. bake at 350 degrees f (175 degrees c) for 20 minutes. turn the oven down to 300 degrees f (150 degrees c), and bake for another 30 minutes.
- cool before serving. store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
