Baked Apples With Rum Soaked Raisins

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup raisins, soaked overnight in rum in capped jar
  • 8 cooking apples, peeled, cored & sliced
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 place sliced apples and raisins in a greased casserole dish.
  • 3 mix all dry ingredients, sprinkle over apples & raisins.
  • 4 mix lightly to cover apples with sugar/cinnamon mixture.
  • 5 bake for 45 minutes.
  • 6 do not over bake, as apples will be mushy.
