healthier good old fashioned pancakes

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups nonfat milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

    Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins Ready Time: 20 mins

  • sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together in a large bowl. make a well in the center and pour in milk, egg whites, and melted butter; mix until smooth.
  • heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake, pour or scoop batter griddle. brown on both sides and serve hot.
