Baked Brandied Cranberries

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 (12 ounce) bags cranberries
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

Recipe

  • 1 place the cranberries in a glass 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
  • 2 cover the cranberries with the 2 cups of sugar; do not stir.
  • 3 cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  • 4 bake 50-55 minutes in a 350 degree oven; until the cranberries burst.
  • 5 remove from oven. remove foil and stir. let stand 10 minutes.
  • 6 drizzle with the brandy. stir in the 1/3 cup of sugar.
  • 7 cool to room temperature; then refrigerate.
