Abrikos (apricot Dessert)

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 lb dried apricot
- 4 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 12 -15 macaroons
- sherry wine (optional)
- 1 cup whipped cream
Recipe
- 1 soak apricots overnight in water.
- 2 bring to a boil in same water and add sugar.
- 3 simmer 15-20 minutes.
- 4 cool.
- 5 place half of macaroons in serving dish.
- 6 sprinkle with sherry, if desired.
- 7 add half of apricots on top of macaroons.
- 8 repeat with last macaroons and apricot sauce.
- 9 chill.
- 10 serve with whipped cream on top.
