Adam's Cabbage

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 heads cabbage
  • 5 slices thick rind on bacon
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 fry bacon until crispy (do not drain).
  • 2 core and chop cabbage (do a rough chop--not too small).
  • 3 add water to a large pan or stock pot and boil.
  • 4 add bacon and (all!) the drippings to the pot.
  • 5 then add the chopped cabbage.
  • 6 cook on medium until desired consistency.
