Ingredients
- Servings: 10
- 2 heads cabbage
- 5 slices thick rind on bacon
- salt and pepper
- 3 cups water
Recipe
- 1 fry bacon until crispy (do not drain).
- 2 core and chop cabbage (do a rough chop--not too small).
- 3 add water to a large pan or stock pot and boil.
- 4 add bacon and (all!) the drippings to the pot.
- 5 then add the chopped cabbage.
- 6 cook on medium until desired consistency.
