Andouille Sausage And Basmati Rice

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1/2 lb andouille sausages, sliced or 1/2 lb andouille sausage, cubed
  • 1 cup basmati rice, rinsed 3 times in cold water
  • 2 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 slice sausage into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices.
  • 2 or dice into 1/2 inch dice.
  • 3 place in a ten inch skillet with lid.
  • 4 add 1/2 cup water.
  • 5 steam on medium heat for 15 minutes, covered.
  • 6 remove lid and brown sausage until water is gone.
