Apricot-cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

- 2 cups dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped dried apricot
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 5 1/2 cups water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, combine the cranberries, apricots, raisins and spices. mix well, then set aside.
- 2 combine the water and sugar in the saucepan. bring to a boil and reduce the heat to medium. cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- 3 add the dried fruit mixture and vinegar. bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat. simmer the sauce for 10 minutes or until the fruit is tender.
- 4 let sauce cool and serve.
