Bacon & Caramelized-onion Asparagus

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 1/2 lbs fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup ranch dressing

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon in nonskillet 3 to 5 mins, or until crisp, turning frequently. drain bacon on paper towels. discard fat from pan.
  • 2 place asparagus in microwaveable casserole dish. add water, microwave on high on 4-5 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
  • 3 meanwhile add onions to skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes until tender, add ranch dressing.
  • 4 drain asparagus; top with sauce and crumbled bacon.
