Anissabo (pea Soup -- Cree Style)

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups dried peas, soaked
  • 1 cup celery leaves
  • salt
  • pepper
  • savory
  • 20 ounces hominy

Recipe

  • 1 put all ingredients in a large pot with the seasonings.
  • 2 simmer until the peas are tender but stil firm.
  • 3 add the hominy & cook till thickened.
  • 4 serve hot.
