Apricot Walnut Tea Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried apricot
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Recipe

  • 1 preheat your oven to 350°; grease a 9-inch loaf pan.
  • 2 cut the apricots into small pieces and places in a bowl; add the boiling water and set aside to cool.
  • 3 sift the flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside.
