Ancho Potato Mash

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 5 ancho chilies, crushed
- 1/2 cup whole milk, warm
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- salt
Recipe
- 1 ancho milk: steep chilies in milk for 10-15 minutes, cool slightly and puree.
- 2 use as you would regular milk.
- 3 ancho potatoes: place mashed potatoes in a saucepan and add the rest of the ingredients.
- 4 heat slowly, stirring regularly to avoid burning and to blend well adding the remaining milk if needed.
