Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Porridge

Ingredients

- 3 cups unsweetened apple juice or 3 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1/2 peeled and diced apple
- 1/3 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 in saucepan bring apple juice and salt to a boil.
- 2 whisk in the rolled oats, apple, raisons (if using) and cinnamon.
- 3 reduce heat and simmer whisking constantly for about 4-5 minutes or until desired thickness.
- 4 **i myself prefer the unsweetened apple juice**.
