Adirondack Soup

Total Time: 9 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 9 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 2 quarts stewed tomatoes
  • 3 (16 ounce) cans vegetable broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 5 large carrots, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 celery ribs, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 dashes tabasco sauce
  • 3 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

Recipe

  • 1 combine everything but mixed vegetables in the slow cooker.
  • 2 cover & cook 8-10 hours on low.
  • 3 add mixed vegetables.
  • 4 cover & cook an additional hour on low.
